It is amazing how people all over the world can simultaneously be experiencing such different weather. It's upwards of 32 degrees today and the sun is unbearable. In Victoria, Australia there are raging fire storms and there are even worried that similar things could happen here. It's been so hot and dry this summer with record temperatures of 42 degrees. The hills are a rusty, golden yellow that just goes on and on. I should try and go up there and take some photos just so you can experience the beauty that surrounds my city.

Even though I have lived here all my life and barely even left this country, I always think that it is the south that is out of wack from the north. I guess because we get a lot of our media and cultural images from the north. But yay! I like it this way around...all winter I watched other bloggers bathing in the warmth. The breeze through my window is like a hot, soft silk right now.
I feel like going to sleep.
My apologies for the photo quality, I don't think my camera likes all this light.

I know what you mean, I aloways feel like I'm on vacations at the wrong place, when the truth is I've lived on the same place all of my life.
Amazing top. It made my day, really.
Lovely haircut.

I know, it's silly! We really should embrace our southern heritage!
Thanks, it's really clever. I think it's meant to hint towards a smiley face...and it pretty much goes with everything
