Skating

I went skating on Lake Ida a couple of weeks ago. Finally got the photos off my dad so I thought I'd show you guys some.
It was amazing, the ice was at least 15cms thick and there was nobody around so we could skate wherever we liked. It was a beautiful day. Just before we got to Ida, we actually skated on another lake called Evelyn. The sun was melting the ice as we skated on it and so it was cracking and shifting under us. Not right through the ice, so it was safe enough to skate on, but it was still really scary. At one point, my dad got such a fright he literally clawed at my arm. I had a bruise to prove it.
